All Play Day juniors are invited to bring a friend to compete in  this Saturday's tournament.  Please note, all friends must be confirmed using the form below. Friends do not have to be enrolled in a Murray Hill clinic to participate, and must be close in age to their Play Day peers.

NEW for Fall 2017 – Introducing Play Days

More than just coaching, Murray Hill is about meeting the needs of players and parents by including competition, organized practice, and social elements. We go beyond teaching tennis – we build an entire tennis environment that inspires and motivates players to immerse themselves in the game. 

On select Saturdays this fall, kids are invited to practice skills learned in clinics. Play Days combine on-court action followed by themed hang outs. Play Days 3 & 6 will be mini in-house tournaments.

Advanced Green Dot

Advanced Green Dot Clinic is for the player that uses the correct grips, has the correct stroke technique with a high level of spin, pace and control on a full-size court. The player demonstrates correct footwork patterns to strike the ball and is developing their weapons. Student should be able to consistently place their serve. *Includes Play Day (please inquire for full details)

Advanced Orange Ball

Advanced Orange Ball Clinic is for the player that has a developed stroke technique and uses racket head speed to control the ball with spin, pace, height and depth from the baseline. The player should also have an understanding of the proper grips and how to move to the ball while we share with the student some basic patterns of play. Student must also be able to serve with the correct grip. *Includes Play Day (Please Inquire for full details)

NEW - Advanced Red Ball

The Advanced Red Ball clinic is a new offering at Murray Hill, designed to challenge our 8 and under players, while also giving them the tools they need to be successful long-term tennis players. The class will focus on all aspects of the game: groundstrokes, net play, serves and
competition. Enrollment is by invitation only. Please call to inquire.                              


Tiny Tennis [2 - 3 years old]

Introduce your child to tennis in our Tiny Tennis program. During this half-hour clinic your MHTF pro will lead your child through a series of fun tennis-based games and activities, designed to encourage learning, develop gross motor skills, and promote social interaction.

Lil' Crushers [3 - 4 years old]

This special 30-minute session is for the smaller set. We will work on hand-eye coordination skills essential to the game of tennis, as your child gets a feel for the court. Sending and receiving skills are developed. Age appropriate balls and equipment will be used. Focus is on fun and developing an early love of the game.

Lil' Crushers [4 - 6 years old]

In our Lil’ Crushers one hour class, we continue to focus on developing general motor and athletic skills. As your child’s coordination and balance progress, we will introduce stroke fundamentals by exposing the children to games that are both fun and tennis-related. Red low compression tennis balls specifically designed for this age group are used, helping to ensure early success.

Rising Stars [8 - 10 years old]

In our Rising Stars program, children will transition from the 36′ court to the 60′ court and learn the basics of tactical play. We will emphasize swing rhythm on the forehand and backhand groundstrokes and introduce topspin. Proper groundstroke and volley technique will be taught.
